| | Last Site Activity: | 4 hours ago | | # Years Involved in Craft: | 5 | | # Shows per Year: | 20 | | Craft Categories: Floral > Potpourri, Floral > Botanicals | | | Craft Description: My interests are with canning, I make my own homemade preserves originating from my great-grandma "Grammy" Berger and "Grammy" Beck - as well my own handcrafted potpourri that I grow and make myself. Cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, playing music and decorating has been in the family, both maternal and paternal. The potpourri crafts I make are for sale on my website as well as at art and craft shows. Each blend is made up of home grown dried flowers, pods, seeds and other natural items and scented only with essential oils to give the potpourri a long lasting fragrance that isn't over powering to even the most sensitive noses.
I also have a lot of training/management experience in retail as far as knowing how to fix displays in using color, height, catching the eye of customers in using the senses, customer service, etc.
I graduated high school as well earning an Associates Degree and some more college after that but most of it is in music based. That doesn't really help with my craft which is why when I saw a good thing with my craft I went with it knowing my schooling will always be there to fall back on. |
