| ARTISAN GARDENS 3RD ANNUAL Fallfest5775 St Rt. 28 Newport, NY 13416 1 ( Tanya Arcuri-Gout We are hosting a “Meet The Crafters” Bonfire on Sat. Night! FREE BOOTH FOR INTERACTIVE ARTISTS/PERFORMERS CRAFT BOOTH GUIDELINES & APPLICATION Read the following craft guidelines carefully. Guidelines will be strictly enforced for the betterment of the show. The ARTISAN GARDENS endeavors to uphold the quality and high standards by issuing invitations to crafters showing creative artistic talent, quality work of art and fine craftsmanship. LOCATION & TIME OF SHOW : The location of the 2007 Arts and Crafts Show will be in the TOWN of NEWPORT, NY 5775 St Rt 28 13416 This is a high traffic location for Travel and Tourism, on 2.5 Waterfront Acres. The show will be held outdoors. You must provide your own tents, tables and chairs, and/or be able to cover your work at night. Every effort will be made to assign spaces appropriately to benefit the shopper, crafter and overall show. This is a 2-day event and will be held Sept 22 & 23 10:00am - 5:00pm. Parking for crafters vehicles will be made available as near as possible for convenience. NOTE: No electrical outlets will be available. Only to food vendors GUIDELINES TO SUBMIT WORK Original / Handcrafted work only This will be strictly enforced. This is not a flea market or antique show. You must hold valid insurance and permit. CATEGORIES The following categories will be accepted. Original Art, oil, watercolor, pen & ink, graphic design, mixed media, acrylic, pastel, paper. Caricatures, Leather Crafts, handcrafted clothing, accessories. Photography, color, B&W, digital, computer enhanced. Needlework, handcrafted crochet, knitting, hand sewed clothing. Pottery, original clay and ceramic. Quilting, original handcrafted designs. Sculpture, all media. Weaving, all media. Woodwork, original designed handmade furniture and accessories (No kits). Metals, original art décor and accessories. Glass, hand-blown works of art and décor. Stained Glass, artwork, furniture and accessories. Jewelry, original designed handcrafted jewelry. Items such as gold and silver chains that are purchased in bulk for resale will not be accepted for display. Inventions, crafter displaying any invention must be the original designer and copyright holder. Baked Goods & Food Vendors are more than welcome, and of course Musicians. Call for other possible submissions. ARTISAN GARDENS ELIGIBILITY To exhibit in the show each artist must have received a 2007 invitation, paid booth fee in full and issued a booth space number. FEE A Craft Booth fee is $50.00 for 2 days reserving a 10’ x 20’ space. Food Vendors must call. Please SEND FEE WITH YOUR APPLICATION. This will reserve your spot. This booth fee is introductory. If you are accepted for our 3RD show, you will receive future discounts on annual booth rental. UPON ACCEPTANCE All applicants accepted for the show will be sent an invitation . AWARDS All booths are entered in a competition to win 1 Ribbon $50.00 award, to be given on the final day of show. RAIN OUT, CANCELLATIONS AND FORFEITS There will be no refunds for rain out, flooding, cancellation or failure to show. But we may transfer your fee to the next show of your convenience. Also, any crafter who fails to follow show guidelines such as adding additional crafts or displaying non-original crafts will forfeit booth fee and will be asked to vacate their booth space immediately.
