Craft type items that are buy and resell are allowed on a limited basis and only with pictures of items and booths set-up. No flea market or garage sale type items. Food items have restrictions (pre-packaged, not to be consumed on site, etc..)Please see application for full details if you sell a food product.

Treasure Chest Arts & Crafts Holiday Show - Nov. 20-21-22, 2009 - at the St. Charles County Convention Center.  **FREE PARKING & FREE ADMISSION**
***You MUST request, complete and return my application to be considered for this show.***
Items that are hand-made, hand crafted or of a craft nature preferred. Limited retail items. This is the largest and only 3-day, Holiday show in the St. Charles County area.  Spaces are: 10x10 for $250, 10x15 for $365, 10x20 for $475 if completed application is received before October 31, 2009; 10x10 for $300, 10x15 for $450, 10x20 for $600 if application is received after November 1, 2009.  Application is not considered complete unless fees are paid in full.
Applications are numbered when received and spaces are assigned in the order the applications were received.  
Electricity is available at the Convention Center's rateof $60.00
Show set-up is Friday beginning at 9:00 am. Food vendors must be ready for inspections by 1:00pm.  All spaces must be ready by 2:00pm. Tables must be covered to the floor on all sides. Displays must be neat and attractive. Candle burning is NOT allowed.
Special requests must  be in writing and will be honored  to the best of the promoter's ability.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Workers under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times.
All fees are non-refundable. Returned check fee is $50.00

Advertising to include commercials on channels 30 and 11 beginning the week of the show, newspaper ads in St. Charles, North County and West St. Louis County areas; ads in the Missouri and Illinois Country Register; ads in misc. magazines and publications; listed on several websites; multiple ads on Y98,KMOX, WIL,KLOU 103.3, 106.5 the Arch and Kezk 102.5 the week of the show; fliers in local businesses and many  neighborhood signs throughout the St. Charles and nearby St. Louis area. Postcards and e-mails sent to large data base of previous attendees.

           Exhibitor Rules and Regulations

1.     Items that are handmade, hand crafted or of a craft nature preferred.  Non-handmade items allowed only at the promoter’s discretion. Absolutely NO flea market or garage sale type items allowed. We reserve the right to reject items we find in poor taste or any person who does not conform to the regulations. All Exhibitors must submit 3 photos of your products, including one photo of display. Photos will be kept on file.

2.     Electricity is available upon request. $60 if paid with booth fees, $90 if added on later.  Exhibitors must have a surge protected power strip (type S or SJ) UL approved for multiple outlet requirements.
3.     Show set-up is Friday, Nov. 20th, beginning at 9:00am. Food vendors must be ready for inspections by 1:00pm. All displays must be ready by 2:00pm. Tables must be covered to the floor, on all sides. Display must be neat and attractive.  Candle burning is not allowed. Exhibitors are responsible for the clean up of their exhibit area.
4.  Booth spaces are assigned in the order the applications are received. Applications must include full payment to be considered complete. Special requests must be in writing and will be honored to the best of the promoter’s ability. We reserve the right to assign or relocate any booth as necessary. Do not sublet spaces to anyone without permission.
5.     Exhibitors should refrain from early breakdown of booths, removal of inventory, or loading of vehicles until the show has been officially closed at 4:00pm on Sunday.
6.     All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Workers under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Exhibitor assumes all responsibility/liability for any loss, theft, damage or personal injury occurrence inside or in front of your booth that requires an insurance claim. Treasure Chest Arts & Crafts Shows LLC will not assume any responsibility or liability for damage, theft or personal injury incurred directly or indirectly as a result of the show.
7.     Missouri State Sales Tax collection and disbursement is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
8.     All fees are non-refundable. Charge per returned check is $50.00.
9.     Please include a business size, self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your confirmation packet. Packets will be mailed approx. 2 weeks prior to the show and will include your booth space number and other detailed information.
10.     Management requires all exhibitors and their co-workers to park in designated parking areas only. This is mandatory.

**NOTE FOR FOOD VENDORS**: Food and beverage for consumption on premises is not allowed.  If selling a food or beverage product, samples may be no greater than 2 oz. Items must be manufactured, processed and distributed by the exhibiting firm and must be related to participation in the exhibiting event.  Additionally, all unsealed products require a health permit. Securing of all necessary licenses and/or permits is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Exhibitors are responsible for complying with all St. Charles & St. Charles County Health Department regulations regarding food sampling, storage, equipment, temperatures, etc. If an exhibitor is not in compliance or does not obtain the proper licenses and/or permits, the Health Department can shut down the booth. All Food Vendors must be ready for inspections at 1:00pm Friday. For further information, please request a Food & Beverage Vendor Packet from the show Promoter.

Show Hours

Friday, Nov. 20th:
     9:00am – Doors will open for crafters to begin setting-up. Food vendorws must be ready by 1:00pm. All booths must be ready by 2:00pm.
     3:00pm – Doors open for business.
     8:00pm – Show closes. Crafters may restock their booths at this time.
     9:00pm - Everyone must leave the building.
Saturday, Nov. 21st:
     8:00am – Doors will be open for crafters to restock their booths.
     9:00am – Doors open for business.
     6:00pm - Show closes. Crafters may restock their booths at this time.
     7:00pm - Everyone must leave the building.
Sunday, Nov. 22nd:
     9:00am – Doors will be open for crafters to restock their booths.
        10:00am – Doors open for business.
     4:00pm - Show closes. Crafters may begin packing their booths at this time.
     7:00pm - Everyone must be out of the building.

Please remember to submit 3 photos of your products, including one photo of your display and a business size, self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your confirmation packet.

If your application is incomplete or not accepted, we will notify you immediatley. Otherwise, consider your application accepted. Confirmation packets will be mailed 4-6 weeks before the show.

Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.

Driving Directions
When Traveling From The East(St. Louis/Airport):
Take Interstate 70 West over the bridge to St. Charles. Take the second exit after the bridge, 5th Street South (Exit 229A), and go to the first light at Veterans Memorial Parkway and make a right. Go 1 mile to the light at Fairgrounds Road. The Convention Center will be immediately on your left. Make a left onto Fairgrounds Road and enter to the rear of the complex.

When Traveling From The West(Kansas City):
Take Interstate 70 East to St. Charles. Take the 5th Street exit (Exit 229) and veer right at the end of the ramp.  Go to the first light at Veterans Memorial Parkway and make a right. Go one mile to the light at Fairgrounds Road. The Convention Center will be immediately on your left. Make a left onto Fairgrounds Road and enter to the rear of the complex.
