85+ crafters exhibiting their handmade items for sale.  Many one of a kind item.  Free Admission and Parking.  Door Prize Drawing compliments of the Country Bumpkin(The Common).  Food donations accepted for East Cooper Community Outreach.  Info. (  


Event/Application Rules & Regulations
RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.     EXHIBITOR SET-UP:  7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
2.     Do not block any entrance door to load or unload your vehicle.  Be considerate of others.
3.     All vehicles must be parked in vendors’ designated parking area in BACK of building.
4.     All items must be handcrafted by exhibitor whose name is on the application.
5.     Gift baskets will be allowed if baskets contain at least one item handcrafted by exhibitor.
6.     All tables must be covered to the floor on all 4 sides.  All boxes, supplies, coolers, etc., must be kept under covered tables at all times.       Children must be attended and kept in booths.               
7.     Do not use another crafter’s booth as a means to enter or exit your own booth.  Plan accordingly.
8.     Exhibitors must be present during all hours of show operation (9 - 6pm.)  $50.00 fine if booth is broken down prior to 6 pm closing the last day of show (Sat).
9.     Canopies, frames, or lighted candles will not be allowed inside building.  Your display can be no higher than 7 feet tall.  Items are to be sold in your rental space only; not in the aisles.
10.     No “Discount” or “Sale” or similar signs are to be posted.  We don’t want to look like a flea market.
11.     Collection of SC Sales Tax + Mt. Pleasant Local Option Sales (Tax)  and a S.C. Retail License are the responsibility of exhibitor.
12.     Each exhibitor is responsible for cleanup of his/her space BEFORE leaving at the end of the show.
13.     If, after acceptance, you are not able to do the show for any reason, please have the courtesy of informing the Guild, even as late as the day before the show, so we can adjust booth spaces to avoid empty areas at the show.

You may be asked to leave the show and/or forfeit your acceptance to future shows.

Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Jury materials, slides or photos, will not be returned to you. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicles can not be brought near stand for un/loading. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.

Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Photos of workshop, supplies, or works in progress required.
All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only.
Limited number of Artists per category.
Artist must be present day of show.
Floor length table cloths required.
No inventory boxes in view.
No plain, flat table displays. Tiers, levels, or shelves required on them.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
