| Get your holiday shopping done early this year at the Marketplace: A Shopping Extravaganza! brought to you by The Junior League of Athens. The Marketplace will be held October 19-21, 2007 at the Classic Center in Athens with the event featuring more than 100 booths with upscale specialty merchants, regional artists, and one of a kind storefronts from around the country. By bringing these distinctive merchants together, The Marketplace will create an unsurpassed shopping experience all in one location. Expect to find unique gifts from craftsmen and artists, custom and estate jewelry, handbags, gourmet treats, monogrammed items, and so much more! While you shop, be sure to also have your children’s picture snapped with Santa, by Wingate Downs Photography. Or grab some food from Foodworks or a cup of coffee from Jittery Joes. Please join us for this special event benefiting child welfare programs supported by The Junior League of Athens. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Early Packup Allowed. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
