Traditionally, we draw 1200+ people to our annual craft show.Increased commitment to advertising throughout Southeastern Connecticut. Display space sells out early and a low admission fee for customers at the door will be charged ($2 fee with a can good item $1 off). Vendors display in the lobby, gym, cafeteria and corridors, in spaces of a minimum of 60 square feet. Again this year - Children's Winter Wonderland with photos with Santa Claus and storytime with Mrs. Claus. The Winter Wonderland is placed within the flow of traffic so ALL crafters have equal viewing. Craft Vendors Setup time available this year, Friday evening beginning at 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. or Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Traditionally, we draw 1200+ people to each show, and display space sells out early. Vendors display in the lobby, gym, cafeteria and corridors, in spaces of 60 square feet.
10:00 AM-4:00 PM. 125 Craft Vendors featuring holiday items, jewelry, ceramics,honey,wreaths,fudge,pet items, music boxes, American Girl Doll clothing and much, much more! Santa Claus is coming to town and he's bring Mrs. Claus too! Visits with Santa 1:00-3:00. Photos also available with Santa. Storytime with Mrs. Claus 1:30,and 2:30 p.m. Building Handicap accessiable. Plenty of free and Handicap parking.
Saint Bernard School will hold its Holiday Craft Show & Food Bazaar on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 10am to 4pm. Located at 1593 Norwich-New London Turnpike, (Route 32) Uncasvillem, CT. Saint Bernard is easily accessible from Route I-395. Parking is free, abundant and convenient for the public.
Traditionally we draw 1100+ people to each show. Vendors display in the lobby, gym, cafereria and corridors in spaces of 60 square feet. Please mark your special requirements on the application form. Display space will remain at $75.00 plus $15 per table rental, if requested. Set up time beings Friday November 6 at 5pm - 8:30pm OR Saturday 7:00 am - 9:00 am. Reservations are non-refundable. Entertainment
| The Winter Wonderland is offered within the Library/Media Center and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present between 1:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m. for photos with Santa. Mrs. Claus will have story time at 1:30 pm & 2:30. ALL children are invited to travel through the Winter Wonderland with parents. |
Advertising Done for This Event
| Newspapers running advertisements (Hartford Courant, The New London Day, Norwich Bulletin, Providence Journal and the Westerly Times) Air time with 2 local radio stations (WBMW & WCTY and affiliates)Local cable networks Community Bulletin Board as well as all local schools catholic & public will have flyers sent home with announcement of the Holiday Craft Show. All Norwich, CT Diocesan Churches will carry the event in their weekly bulletin. (Est. Budget $5,500) |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Table Cloth or Drape Required. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A multiple-person panel jury thoroughly reviews slides or photos and display.
All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only.
Limited number of Artists per category.
Artist must be present day of show.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.

Saint Bernard School is approx. 3/4 mile on left side. Can't miss the school. Saint Bernard High School, large yard in front of school on the hill. Rte. 32 is Norwich New London Tpke.
