The MD Four Seasons Fine Art and Craft Shows, held at the popular, easy to find Carroll County Agricultural Center/Arena is an artist run event.  This show is working towards putting ART back into art and craft shows and to do this, the event is juried twice - once when applications are received as well as on the day of the event.  We are looking for unique, contemporary, folk, traditional art type items, as well as handcrafted craft items by the artists only!!!  Re-sell, imports, reps from party planning companies, kit makers - DO NOT APPLY.  To ensure crafts people and artists are well taken care of at this event there are cash incentives to help them earn money back, but you must apply early!  For more information and application, please clink on the link to our website listed below.


Advertising Done for This Event
July 26-Aug. 1 we are a sponsor of the Carroll County 4-H Fair where info about our event will be seen by 75,000-100,000 attendees.  Press releases and ads in local and regional newspapers, mailings with $1 of admission coupons on post cards distributed with the help of both exhibitors and mailing lists done by the promoter, posters/fliers in restaurants and craft boutiques/antique stores within a 1 hour radius of the event, fliers at visitor centers, calender of event websites, ads in the Country Register, and 20 road signs with arrows.  The Carroll County Farmers Market is also at this venue Saturday which brings several hundred people out.  It is being billed as an indoor, air-conditioned event!  We are also implementing a magazine like program as a promotional tool (distributed at participating locations) and as a guide at the market as well.  We have more detailed advertising info. on our website.

Common Rules Selected: Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds. Show Credits available by condition. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Canopies must be weighted down, no stakes allowed in ground. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.

All items must be entirely hand-made, no Embellishments only.
