The MD Four Seasons Fine Art and Craft Market is an artist run event and is juried progressively (requiring 3 photos of your work and one of your display) and on the day of the event to ensure quality.  We NEED fine artists and crafts people from all sorts of mediums who make their own handcrafted work.  We jury for quality, uniqueness, and variety in categories of contemporary, traditional, folk and fine crafts.  We offer cash awards and ribbons for Best Booth Display and Best in Show.  See our website, listed below, for ALL the details.  We do send out welcome packets.  Apply early so your photos can be included in our promotional material!


Advertising Done for This Event
Radio commercials!!!  Press releases to local and non local newspapers, postcard distribution with $1 off admission coupons sent to customers via several mailing lists from both  the promoters mailing lists as well as those from the exhibitors.  Fliers/posters in craft boutiques, antique stores, historic district shops, bed and breakfasts, and restaurants within a one hour radius of the Ag. Center.  Road signs, banners, website promotions - with calender of event websites such as Dept. of Tourism sites, Welcome Centers, Visitors Centers, and more...

Common Rules Selected: A percentage of vendors are cycled out each year to maintain freshness. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Canopies must be weighted down, no stakes allowed in ground. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.

Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A multiple-person panel jury thoroughly reviews slides or photos and display.
All items must be entirely hand-made, no Embellishments only.
All items must be entirely hand-made by the artist alone.
Artist must be present day of show.
Floor length table cloths required.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to leave.
