Description
Festival of Trees at the Valley River Inn grows more spectacular with each year. For Fourteen years, this has been the largest annual fund-raising event for McKenzie Willamette Community Health Foundation, attracting approximately 18,000 visitors annually. It has been directly responsible for supporting numerous programs serving community health needs.
More than 57 dazzling holiday trees will reflect the theme of this year’s Festival of Trees, “Oh Come All Ye Faithful.” These lavishly decorated fresh trees serve as centerpieces for an amazing variety of gifts and premiums that accompany each auctioned tree.
Festival admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children under 12 and seniors 60 and older. Tickets are currently on sale at Umpqua Banks and Shamrock Flowers & Gifts. Entertainment will be held in the Columbia Room, allowing for larger audiences. Storybook character, colorful stockings, Gingerbread Villages, gift baskets, “Candy Cane Forest” and “Under the Tree” (children’s activities and shopping), and Santa Claus adds to the merriment. Again this year, Festival of Trees has a little sponsor and will be known as “McKenzie Willamette Community Health Foundation’s Festival of Trees presentation by Emerald Forest Products.”

Festival of Trees is only made possible by the participation and support of over 900 volunteers, who work three-hour shifts from November 19 to November 26. For more information about volunteering contact the volunteer center at. #### Festival of Trees Contact: Susie Trahan Phone: ( Email:
