Description
Arts & Crafts as well as Collectibles Show to be held at Lehigh Valley Mall from September 16 to 20.  This is a juried show, even for the collectibles.  We will utilize the entire mall in open spaces to display and sell our Craft items.  All crafts and collectible items are welcome and we want the variety to bring to our mall.  Space sizes are approximately 10 X 12 with walk spaces between each space.  Larger spaces are available also.  


Event/Application Rules & Regulations
All items must be handcrafted or collectibles unless approved by the mall in advance.   All exhibits and products to be sold and other items in connection with the show must be in good taste an of high quality.  

Black table covers are required.  Covers must go all the way to within an inch of the floor and cover all four sides.  If you do not have table covers you may rent them from us at the rate of $5 per cover.  They must be returned prior to leaving the mall on Sunday.  You are responsible for them and damaged covers will cost $50 each.

Mall management reserves the right of final approval of all exhibitor/exhibitions, therefore, if the mall management finds our display or merchandise unacceptable for the location, the merchandise or display must be removed immediately.  The mall management reserves the right to  adjust any display to fit the mall layout requirements at any time.  The mall may reject crafts and/or artisans after artisans receive acceptance documents from Rainbow Crafts. (This has not happened but is always a possibility).

All exhibits are expected to be completely set-up prior to the opening of any show.  No storage or transporting equipment should be visible by the customers.  Show hours are set by the times the malls are open.  Your booth should be open and staffed during mall hours.  Sometimes the mall hours differ from mall to mall.  

You must provide your own tables, chairs and display materials.  Displays must be kept in good repair.  No metal framed lawn chairs.  No metal tent frames as part of your display.  Display tables must have cloth or fabric covers, which must be covered to the floor on all four sides and black in color.  No frayed or tattered ends.  No plastic or vinyl covers.  Flame and or fire retardant covers are preferred.  No display racks over 6’0

Electricity is provided.  Please indicate that you need it on your application.   All cords need to be 3 prong UL listed and tested.  Surge protectors/circuit breakers must be used if more than one cord is needed.  All cords need to be run under or behind your booth and should be worked into your display.

Rubber Backed Mats (non sliding) black or gray floor mats are required to cover cords on the ground.  The mat edges should be designed so they will not be tripped on.  We have specialized tape that is required in the malls, please see us if you need it.  The use of duck tape on floors is prohibited in most malls.  No taping, nailing or pinning is permitted to any location buildings.

No sale signs, such as “½ price” or “10% off” are allowed.

No handwritten signs are allowed.  Signs must be computer generated or professionally prepared.

Dress appropriately no torn or ripped jeans leotard type pants, tank tops or muscle shirts.

The exhibitor is responsible for leaving the booth location clear and litter free upon dismantling of the show.  Exhibitors must take their trash to the nearest receptacle at the end of the show this does include boxes.

Security is provided by the location management.  Displays left up overnight are at your own risk.  The mall management, any of its affiliates, Rainbow Crafts, and security are not responsible for vendor items or delays being lost, stolen or damaged.  

Any problems during a show must be brought to the attention of the promoter, not the mall.  Any infraction of this rule will result in dismissal from the show.

All vendors must send application and deposit for each show equivalent to ½ of the show fee…ask for applications if you need them emailed or mailed to you.

Common Rules Selected: Jury materials will be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. All paintings must hang. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.

Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A multiple-person panel jury thoroughly reviews slides or photos and display.
Retail Items Allowed.
Limited number of Artists per category.
Floor length table cloths required.
No inventory boxes in view.
No plain, flat table displays. Tiers, levels, or shelves required on them.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
