Vendor (Licensee) must maintain posted mall hours. Any licensee who does not maintain these hours will be in violation of the License Agreement and will be subject to immediate termination of the license. In case of any emergency, the Craft Show management must be notified.
You must be set up during all Mall posted hours. This means arriving prior to the opening time in order to allow enough time to properly merchandise your unit so that it is fully open at the mall’s posted opening time and remaining fully open for business until the mall’s posted closing time.
The appearance of you and your employees contribute to creating a positive image of the Mall to the customers. They must be satisfied at all times with competent personnel, who are friendly, neat in appearance, and dressed in a professional manner.
Management maintains the right to close down an operation if the personnel are not properly dressed or do not treat all mall patrons and fellow merchants in a courteous and professional manner.
Under no circumstances are you or your employees to engage in a confrontation or argument with anybody. If a potential problem occurs notify craft show management or mall security immediately.
Your return policy must be clearly posted as well as stated on the sales receipt.
A sales receipt must be issued to the customer for all transactions. You are required to save a copy of all transactions at your location.
Security covers are to be stored inside or underneath your display during the day. You may leave your set-up intact overnight at your own risk.
All signs are to be professional looking.
Merchants shall not at any time solicit shoppers. Soliciting, meaning try to obtain, to ask earnestly, to beg, or to entice shoppers persistently beyond four feet of the selling unit. You may, however, greet customers within four feet of your selling unit.
Cardboard boxes and trash are to be stored inside your selling unit until it can be properly disposed. Trash bins outside of the selling unit is prohibited. Trash is to be disposed of in the appropriate receptacles located outside the service entrances. Cardboard boxes are to be flattened and disposed of in the cardboard bin. Under no circumstances are the common area trash receptacles to be used for trash disposal. Electric cords may not be exposed on any part of the selling unit. All electric cords coming from the floor outlet must be under the selling unit at all times.
Licensee must obtain all necessary permits and licenses required by local, state and federal law prior to the opening of business.
Licensee must adhere to all fire codes and regulations.
Coats, pocketbooks, and other personal belongings must be stored out of sight.
Loading zones will be kept open for deliveries whenever possible. Parking in driveways, fire lanes, and loading zones is strictly prohibited. Delivery vehicles must be completely unloaded at curbside and then moved out. Unattended parked vehicles in Loading Zones will be ticketed or towed at the expense of the Tenant serviced by the vehicle.
All carts and dollies for moving material are required to be off the mall floor during mall hours.
The maximum height limit for any retail display is 7 feet.
The possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
Your NYS Sales Tax Certificate must be clearly displayed at your rented space.

Violation of any of the above rules of operation will be grounds for a $100 fine per violation and/or immediate termination of the temporary revocable license. Violations are due and payable five (5) days after receipt. If three violations have been given and not paid, immediate termination of the temporary revocable license will ensue.
Common Rules Selected: Spots are selected by vendors day of show - first come, first pick. No Refunds or Show Credits. Overnight Security Provided. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Table Cloth or Drape Required. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
