Description
| Annual Christmas In Comfort welcomes holiday shoppers to Comfort. Downtown Historic District is blocked off to allow for over 150 arts & crafts booths. Food Court, Visit from Santa, Daylong Music. Entire town is decorated for Christmas. Night brings a spectacular lighted parade traveling down High Street. No admission charged. For over 20 years this event has been a highlight of the Texas Hill Country. |

Event/Application Rules & Regulations
General Release and Hold Harmless Statement
For in and consideration of the Comfort Chamber of Commerce, and doing business as Christmas in Comfort, hereinafter referred to collectively as The Chamber, permitting ourselves, our spouses, our children, our relatives, and/or guests, to enter upon the Christmas in Comfort Festival, I hereby release The Chamber, their agents and employees from all claims, demands, suits, causes of action or judgments which I ever had now have or may have in the further or which my heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns may have, or claim to have against The Chamber, their agents and employees, arising out of or in any way connected with the Christmas in Comfort Festival, for all personal injuries known or unknown, property damages, or claims for wrongful death, caused by the acts, omissions, or negligence of The Chamber, their agents and employees. I further agree to hold harmless The Chamber, their agents and employees, from all claims, demands, suits, causes of action, or judgments, which I, my spouse, my children, my relatives, and/or my guests ever had, now have, or claim to have against The Chamber, their agents, employees, arising out of or in any way connected with the Christmas in Comfort Festival, Kendall County, TX. For all personal injuries, known or unknown, property damages, acts, omissions, or negligence of The Chamber, their agents, and employees.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Jury materials, slides or photos, will not be returned to you. Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from event premises. No receptacles provided. No Gas Generators. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). Canopies must be weighted down, no stakes allowed in ground. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel jury reviews slides or photos and display.
Retail Items Allowed.
Floor length table cloths required.
No inventory boxes in view.
No plain, flat table displays. Tiers, levels, or shelves required on them.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.

Driving Directions From San Antonio take I-10 West to Comfort. Take first Comfort exit. Proceed toward Center Point (Hwy 27). Historic District is one block to your left off Hwy 27.
From Kerrville take I-10 East to Comfort. Take first Comfort exit onto Business Hwy 87. Take right fork onto Hwy 27 (toward Center Point). Historic District is one block to your left off Hwy 27.
From Fredericksburg take Hwy 87 South to Comfort (becomes Business Hwy 87). Take right fork to Hwy 27 (toward Center Point). Historic District is one block to your left off Hwy 27.
