| 30th Annual Art and Craft Show. This annual event brings vendors from all over the southeast to sell their original, handcrafted items. The Sneak Preview is new this year. It will be a free 2 hour preview for Teachers from the Teachers’ Convention and some State Employees. Exhibitors are encouraged to sell their work at the preview. We understand that some of you may not be completely set up, and that some may not set up until the following morning. We are not charging the exhibitors or the customers for this preview. We do ask, for security purposes, that if you are already set up, have someone there for the 2-hour preview to sit your booth and sell your work. No buy resale. ALL EXHIBITORS MUST SEND 3 PHOTOS OF THEIR WORK. SAC’S reserves the right to refuse any application and to require the removal of any item(s) considered objectionable, or which do not meet the guidelines set forth above. The “Best Art Booth,” the “Best Craft Booth,” the “Most Unique Booth,” and, “Exhibitors’ Award” will each receive a Special Rosette and a $100 or more valued award. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
All items sold must be made by the exhibitor. NO RESALE ITEMS ALLOWED, including but not limited to, antiques, flea market items, and all resale items such as gold and silver jewelry, frames, figurines, and resale prints. ALL EXHIBITORS MUST SEND 3 PHOTOS OF THEIR WORK. SAC’S reserves the right to refuse any application and to require the removal of any item(s) considered objectionable, or which do not meet the guidelines set forth above. The “Best Art Booth,” the “Best Craft Booth,” the “Most Unique Booth,” and, “Exhibitors’ Award” will each receive a Special Rosette and a $100 or more valued award. Common Rules Selected: Jury materials will be returned to you. Vendors can share a booth. City law requires city issued vendor permit. (Cost: $18 see application) Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos. All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only. All items must be Fine Craft or Art. Artist must be present day of show. Floor length table cloths required. No inventory boxes in view. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to leave. Exhibitors must wear name badges. Determined Quality Level: 5
