| Small Arts & Crafts Fair in the heart of Copley Square featuring approximately 25 artisans in photography, pottery, jewelry, turned wood, handbags, soaps & potpourris, quilts and more. Old South Church is centrally located and the fair has much foot traffic during the holiday season. |
Advertising Done for This Event
Postcards will be distributed to vendors for advertisement to their client lists. An email of same will be provided.
A large banner announcing the fair will hang in front of the church for the week preceding the fair. sandwich Board poster will also be displayed on Boylston Street. Ads will be placed in local paper (Boston Courant; Boston Globe (online)) |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Set-up must be completed by 9:45AM Dec 6.
Vendor table assignments are not to be changed/traded.
Table cloths are provided but vendors are invited to provide their own decoratve covers (floor length prefered).
No music from individual tables, please.
Vendors will have to clear the premises by 4:30PM.
Common Rules Selected: Jury materials, slides or photos, will not be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Table Cloth or Drape Required. All paintings must hang. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos. All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only. Limited number of Artists per category. Artist must be present day of show. Floor length table cloths required. No inventory boxes in view. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Determined Quality Level: 6

Driving Directions Major routes into the city (Mass Pike to Copley Square, or Storrow Drive to Copley exit, right on Beacon, left on Exeter, Left on Boylston). Mayor Menino extends 2 hours free Saturday parking at meters during the holiday season.
