Description
The Hollis Preschool Fundraising Committee is sponsoring our 17th ANNUAL HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR. All proceeds benefit the financial aid and equipment fund for the Hollis Preschool, a nonprofit organization. The event will be held at the Hollis/Brookline Middle School located at 25 Main Street, Hollis, NH.
In addition to the craft fair, the preschool will be hosting a mega raffle of items that have been donated from local businesses. The most alluring items at the raffle table will be the attractive “Theme Baskets” which are prepared by the parents of each preschool class. Each basket will be decorated and overflowing with tempting items to be raffled off at the end of the craft fair. A separate table will host a bake sale with creatively decorated hand baked items. Both tables are sure to attract attention.

Event/Application Rules & Regulations
CRAFTS: All crafts must be of the crafter’s own creation. NO IMPORTS ALLOWED. All crafts displayed must be listed on the enclosed Crafter Information Sheet. Please provide a photo of your craft. This will help us promote your craft as well as the craft fair. If you have a digital photo, please forward it to craftfair@hollispreschool.com
DISPLAY: Crafters are responsible for providing their own display, chair, table and table skirt to conceal all storage. All displays must be neat, safe, and professional. Crafters are responsible for their own display, goods and personal belongings. The Fundraising Committee reserves the right to remove any item(s) that is not listed on the Crafter Information Sheet or any item(s) which displays poor taste or is offensive.
SET-UP TIME: Set-up time will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2009. No one will be allowed to enter the facility before 7:00 a.m.
BREAKDOWN: All crafters must stay for the duration of the craft fair. Crafters may begin to disassemble their display at 3:00 p.m. All crafters must vacate the premises in the time allotted for breakdown. Crafters are responsible for removing all trash and belongings from their assigned space(s).
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Jury materials will be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
