Description
The Flower Hill Fall Art Showcase, held Noon to 5pm on Sunday, November 8th in the beautiful San Diego community of Del Mar, will feature visual and performing artists.
Art will include: painting, sculpture, mosaics, metalwork, jewelry and mixed media. All Artists must be on-site to sell their work. There will be NO Commission charged on sales of their artwork. The only cost to the participating artists will be a $75 or $50 entry fee to cover advertising and marketing expenses. Artists will have Free parking provided, in the upper parking lot at the rear of the mall.
The mall is a beautiful outdoor setting with wide overhangs to provide a great deal of shade, from the pleasant San Diego sun. Flower Hill Promenade features 40 Merchants and Restaurants and Free Parking in two large lots.

Planned, but not confirmed at this point:
Musicians including Guitar, Harp, etc.
Dancers representing different ethnic and technical styles of dance.
Seeking Chalk artists to create "murals" on the mall. |
Advertising Done for This Event
| Full color advertising in: Ranch and Coast Magazine; Holiday Gift Guide approx 40,000 distribution; Newspaper advertising will include; San Diego Union-Tribune, Rancho Santa Fe Review, Del Mar Village Voice, Carmel Valley News,and numerous othe San Diego area newspapers, plus flyers to local hotels and timeshares, and on the Flower Hill Website, to our Flower Hill customer database. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Common Rules Selected: Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Limited number of Artists per category.
Artist must be present day of show.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
Exhibitors must wear name badges.

Driving Directions Take Interstate 5 to the community of Del Mar, California; exit at Via de la Valle, and go east one-half block to the entrance of the Flower Hill Promenade(2720 Via de la Valle,Del Mar,CA); turn left at the light into the Flower Hill parking lot.
Artists will unload at the west end of the mall(street level, adjacent to the Movie Theatres) and then park their vehicles (no charge for parking) in the upper parking lot; they will return to the mall via the ramps or stairway on the north side.
