HiddenCorrelations.com is a research website where the same 'private studies' that are done on small groups of people can be duplicated in an open/public environment with many more participants.

Some correlations we ALREADY have statistical data for include:
    - More attractive people get sick fewer times per year.
    - Stay at home moms seems to have children with higher IQ's and that earn much higher salaries.
    - Breast feeding delays puberty, or not doing so accelerates its onset.
    - People who do more hours per day of close-up work are more likely to be myopic.
    - People with well defined brow ridges are more likely to have distinct canine teeth; and having either (1,2) makes it less likely to need your wisdom teeth extracted.
    - People not breast fed for at least a year tend to have more moles, more skin tags, and get sick more times per year. It does not seem to affect number of warts.
    - People breast fed for at least a year are less attractive to mosquitos.
    - Brest fed children are more likely to claim to be well socially adjusted.
    - Children have sex sooner in cities and later in the country.
    - etc. etc.

total advertising budget is $400. Advertising is done through community bulletins, social networking sites, flyers and event tickets at local businesses, StarTribune, a 3 month ad with Twin Cities Womens Directory (pub. 10,000 monthly)


Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Set Up Time:  Begins at 8:30am.  
 
Take Down Time:  4pm to no later than 5pm.  Vendors are responsible for removal of all paper, stickers, signs, posters, etc. at the end of the show.  You started with an empty table or space and that is what should remain when takedown is complete.
 
Tables:  Please try to man your space at all times during the show hours with at least one person.  
 
Electricity:  Electricity is available only when requested in advance via this application.  For vendors authorized to use electricity – if you need to plug in more than one LOW VOLTAGE item, bring a power strip/surge protector and plug your items into the strip.  Unauthorized users will be promptly asked to leave the event with no refund.  
 
Appearance:  Please plan to drape your table with a table cloth to hide boxes and other vendor supplies, purses, coats, etc.  Keep snacks and drinks hidden if possible.  Your table tag must remain visible at all times to ensure we can locate you quickly in the event of emergency or if service is requested.
 
Consumable Products:  Consumable products (prepared food s & samples) are not allowed at this event (requires special licensing)  Pre-packaged products that must be taken home to prepare or use are allowed.

IMPORTANT:  THE NATIONAL SPORTS CENTER DOES NOT ALLOW ANY OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE IN THEIR FACILITY.  Minnesota Moms in Business is providing concessions for this event for both vendors and guests.  You may purchase food/drink from the concession stand only.  

Assistance During Event:  If you have any questions or need assistance with anything during the event please call  763-442-0335.  
 
Safety/Fire Regulations:  Open flames or smoke emitting materials are prohibited, including candles. All aisles and entrance doors must remain clear of displays, merchandise or signage. Helium balloons are prohibited (they may rise to the high ceiling and are difficult to remove).
 
Sales Tax:  All vendors (including out of state vendors) selling taxable merchandise are required to collect MN Sales tax.  All vendors, even those exempt from filing sales tax are required by Minnesota law to fill out an Operator Certificate of Compliance (Form ST19).  Please complete the attached form and send it in with your application.   Vendors will not be allowed to participate without this completed form.

Certain vendors may be exempt from filing this form if you meet ALL of the following criteria:

• The seller participates in only one event per calendar year that lasts no more than three days;
• The seller makes sales of $500 or less during the calendar year; and
• The seller provides a written statement to that effect, and includes the seller’s name, address and telephone number.

This isolated and occasional sales provision applies to individuals only; it does not apply to businesses.

Refunds:  Your table space fee is non refundable, except in the event that the promoter, Minnesota Moms in Business cancels the event.  Should the event be cancelled, you will receive a full refund.  No exceptions.   If you are unable to occupy your space, you may find a replacement only upon approval by Minnesota Moms in Business.

Table Assignments:  All spaces are assigned based on order in which they are received.   Members of Minnesota Moms in Business will receive first priority in table assignments and available spots with electricity.

Disclaimer:  While every precaution will be taken against loss or theft, Minnesota Moms in Business, it's committee members, the city or property where the event is held will in no way be responsible for any loss, damage, theft or defacement of exhibitor's property.

Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Early Packup Allowed. Table Cloth or Drape Required. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.

Driving Directions
From the Twin Cities area, take 35W North to Hwy 10 West to Hwy 65 North to 105th Ave NE. Take a right on 105th Ave NE. The complex is on both the north and south side of 105th Ave.

To Schwan Center: Proceed on 105th Ave and turn right at the entrance past the brick marquee. The Schwan Center is straight ahead. Park in front of building.
