This event has carried on over 35 years. It is advertised in TX hwys, TX event calendar, all local chambers websites, glennwood gazette in New Mexico, all local papers, Good Times magazine, radio and more.


Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Mail checks to FDCOC PO Box 378 Fort Davis, TX 79734. Do not call the Chamber
asking for your space number. ALL VENDORS MUST CHECK IN AT THE CHAMBER BOOTH LOCATED ON THE
CORNER OF COURT AND WOODWARD. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS! Special Requests: All requests will be
considered on a first come, first serve basis with a completed and fully paid application. All applications are numbered as they
arrive and that is what determines requests. SET UP BEGINS ON Friday July 2nd AFTER 10:00AM. VENDORS
are not allowed to sell any inappropriate item to a minor. (No shooting devices of any kind and no knives.) Anyone caught will be
asked to leave without a refund. Be sure to figure and pay your sales tax from this weekend’s event to Jeff Davis County as required
by law. For quick help go to: http://www.zip2tax.com Sales tax is 8.25% All vendors will be reported to the County Treasurer’s/Attorney’s
office to ensure collection. No ground stakes! Use weights. The Chamber will provide security each evening. Vendor must supply
all of his own materials. (Tent, chairs, table etc.) Take the time to determine your needs and get your booth in working order by 9am
on Saturday. Any cars not removed and or in the area at or after 9am can and will be fined and removed. Do not park in the vicinity of
your booth (ALL DAYS). Doing so only inhibits the amount of visitor parking. Once unloaded, all vendors must park their vehicles
behind the Chamber building. Be sure to display your permit (given out at check Inn) on the dashboard. All supplies and restocking
can be done via your vehicle from 8pm to 9am daily. Keep the area around the courthouse free from vehicles! You are responsible for
your own trash removal. Dumpsters are set behind the Fire Dept. and beside the Sherriff’s office. Ports a John’s are available in the
same locations. Please report all problems to the Chamber Booth. Please follow all rules and be courteous. In doing so this can be a
extremely fun and profitable weekend for all.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Canopies must be weighted down, no stakes allowed in ground. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
