| Pere Marquette Lodge is set in beautiful Grafton, IL which plays host to hundreds of wintering eagles every year. Tourists from all around gather in Grafton to marvel at their beauty. Join us as we celebrate in the height of eagle season our nations most majestic symbol at our first annual Bald Eagle Festival at the beautiful Pere Marquette Lodge |
Entertainment
| Entertainment will be provided by live music and by the World Bird Santuary as they perform their Masters of the sky show in which they will showcase a live Bald Eagle and other impressive birds of prey. |

NOTE: This is a family festival and all items sold should be in good taste, no X-rated or adult items allowed. For safety reasons the following are prohibited from sale: fireworks, “poppers”, squirt guns, weapons, firearms, and no pets.
These rules will be strictly enforced.
The Festival hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Applications are due by December 10th, 2009. Space Rent must be sent with application.

Common Rules Selected: Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos.
All items must AT LEAST APPEAR hand made.
All items must be Fine Craft or Art.
Limited number of Artists per category.
Table cloths required.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.

Driving Directions Coming from St. Louis Airport
Take I-70 West to Lindbergh Blvd.-North. Exit onto I-270 North (to Chicago). Take Rt. 367 North to Alton, IL and continue into Alton. Turn left off the Alton Bridge and go through three stoplights. Turn left at the 3rd light onto Rt. 100. Follow Rt. 100 into Grafton, IL and then 5 miles beyond to Pere Marquette State Park and Lodge. The Lodge will be on the right just past the campgrounds.
Coming from Chicago and Springfield, IL
Take I-55 South to Litchfield. Exit right onto Rt. 16 West. Follow Rt. 16 through Jerseyville and Fieldon to the Rt. 100 junction. Turn left onto Rt. 100 South and continue for 10 miles until you reach the Lodge on your left.
