Description
Country Flower Farms Annual Holiday Craft Fair and Festival featuring over 30 talented, local artisans, crafters and vendors. Kettle corn. Live music by Ronald Hawkins 12-1:30. Special appearances by Rudolf and Friends throughout the day. A raffle and bake sale to benefit the Meriden Humane Society as well as a pet food and kitty litter drive to help local animal shelters. A family friendly event in a fantastic garden center! Everything you need for the Holidays, including the tree! A family friendly event and a must see for the Holidays!

Event/Application Rules & Regulations
no smoking on Country Flower Farms property. Vendors must check in upon arrival. Space assignments are predetermined and final. We respectfully request and item representative of your wares for our raffle to benefit the Meriden Humane Society. Your vehicles must me moved once unloaded and prior to set up. No early pack-ups unless due to personal emergency or severe weather.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. A percentage of vendors are cycled out each year to maintain freshness. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Vendors do not have to signup for all event dates. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Photos of workshop, supplies, or works in progress required.
Retail Items Allowed.
All items must be entirely hand-made, no Embellishments only.
All items must be entirely hand-made by the artist alone.
All items must be Fine Craft or Art.
Limited number of Artists per category.
Artist must be present day of show.
Floor length table cloths required.
No inventory boxes in view.
No plain, flat table displays. Tiers, levels, or shelves required on them.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.

Driving Directions centrally located! from northern Ct: take 91 south to the East Main street exit in Meriden. Take a left off the exit and continue on East Main Street for 3 miles. This truns into Rte 66 east. Once on Rte 66, at your first traffic light take a right onto Rte 147. Country Flower Farms is less than half a mile on the left.
From Southern CT. Take 95 in either direction to the jct with 91 north in New Haven. Continue on 91 north to the jct with Rte 691 east. Follow 691 east, this turns into Rte 66. At the first traffic light take a right onto Rte 147. Country Flower Farms is less than half a mile on the left.
From Western CT: take 84 in either direction to the jct with 691 east. Continue on 691, this turns into Rte 66. At the first traffic light take a right onto Rte 147. Country Flower Farms is less than half a mile on the left.
From Eastern CT: Take Rte 2 or Rte 9 to 91 South and follow directions from "northern CT"
From the Middletown/Portland area, Take Rte 66 West through Middletown. Just past the Middletown resivoir, take a left at the last traffic light before it turns into Rte 691. This left is Rte 147. Country Flower Farms is less than half a mile on the left.
