Description
The Nyack Famous Street Fair is a well known, long running show. The town of Nyack is quaint and know for its restaurants, galleries and resident shops . We are looking for quality crafters, artists, antiques and only quality retail items. We drew over 20,000 customer to the show from NYC, Westchester, Long Island, Rockland & Bergen County and Conn. We are pleased to be promoting this famous show now and will be bringing our expertise in the promoting business to the show. As always we will be promoting the show with newspaper ads, a banner, publicity releases, show flyers, web sites, etc.
Update: Over 20,000 people attended the Sunday, July 19 Nyack show. The streets crowded with eager buyers. Lots of New York City customers, N.J., Ct. also. Show is sold out |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
You must drive up, unload and park-rules on back of application and show placement information Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. A percentage of vendors are cycled out each year to maintain freshness. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Send 1 SASE - Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with standard postage. Vendors do not have to signup for all event dates. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from event premises. No receptacles provided. Canopies must be weighted down, no stakes allowed in ground. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Send 1 SASE - Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with standard postage. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Photos of workshop, supplies, or works in progress required. Retail Items Allowed. All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only. Limited number of Artists per category. Artist must be present day of show. Floor length table cloths required. No inventory boxes in view. No plain, flat table displays. Tiers, levels, or shelves required on them. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
