At Virginia Show Productions Inc. we have been producing outstanding Craft Shows for more than 25 years. In 1996, Sunshine Artist voted the Virginia Christmas Show the 4th Best Traditional Show in the Nation. The readers of The Virginia Guide voted it The Best Craft Show in Virginia. The Virginia Christmas Show is a Four-Day event. The show is held at the Showplace Exhibition Center, 3000 Mechanicsville Turnpike in Richmond, Virginia. Each year Virginia Show Productions Inc. transforms The Showplace into a bustling mecca of holiday shopping. Tens of thousands of enthusiastic shoppers from Virginia and surrounding states converge on the shows for the ultimate shopping experience. They come early and stay late often making numerous trips to their cars to store their many purchases! |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Common Rules Selected: Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Send 1 SASE - Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with standard postage. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Send 1 SASE - Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with standard postage. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A multiple-person panel jury thoroughly reviews slides or photos and display.
Floor length table cloths required.
Booth Curtains Required ( Back and Both Sidewalls ).
No inventory boxes in view.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
Exhibitors must wear name badges.

from the South Central (Petersburg, South Hill, Raleigh)- take I-95 North to I-64 East to Exit 192.
from the East (Norfolk, Newport News, Williamsburg)- take I-64 West to Exit 192.
from the West (Roanoke, Lynchburg)- take 460 East to 360 East to Chippenham Pkwy. West to Powhite Pkwy. to Downtown Expressway to I-95 to I-64 East to Exit 192.
From Danville, Martinsville, Charlottesville - take U.S. 58 to U.S. 360 East to Chippenham Pkwy. West to Powhite Pkwy. to Downtown Expressway to I-95 to I-64 East to Exit 192.
At I-64 Exit 192 take U.S. 360 EAST, proceed 1/2 mile to The Showplace on the left (Do not use I-295).
