Description
| The Galleria Garden Market is open to the general public, drawing most patrons from within one of the five 15+ story office buildings in the of South Cobb County. This is the area known as the Platinum Triangle, located behind the Galleria Mall. It is near the Vinings Community, one of North Atlanta more prestigious villages. The crowd usually hits the ATM in the lobby before finding their lunch from one of the unique food vendors in the market. All original, unique, hand-made by the artist, NO RETAIL / RE-SALE ITEMS WANTED, NEEDED, OR ALLOWED. All crafts and all arts are needed. Specialty foods such as custom breads, jellies, jams, deserts, and several spice, sauce, vendors are already in place. We have one grill vendor with Jamaican foods in the market. The office buildings each have a grill / canteen inside. Foods are generaly welcomed or encouraged to sell. However, there will be every effort not to duplicate foods. The original intention of the Market organizors were to offer tenets alternitve food taste. |
Advertising Done for This Event
| Each tenant of the office buildings are notified by Building Management office of the market's existence and hours. The Cobb County Visitor and Conference Center is aware of the event as it is right behind their offices and they visit for lunch. There is an electronic billboard facing the Interstate 285. There is an inter-office memo that is circulated to remind tenets that the Market is operational. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
You must contact Tony King, 10 days before attending the Market. No day of show entries accepted. You must be ready to off load quickly and move. Space is very, very limited for automobiles. NO EARLY BREAKDOWN ALLOWED. NO EARLY LOAD OUT ALLOWED BY OFFICE SECURITY. Foot traffic from office complex and the narrow path leading in prohibits vehicle traffic during show hours. This is a very long but narrow space.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. A percentage of vendors are cycled out each year to maintain freshness. Vendors can share a booth. Vendors do not have to signup for all event dates. City law requires city issued vendor permit. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Canopies must be weighted down, no stakes allowed in ground. No Early Packup Allowed. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
