Description
Montgomery Farmers Market is held every 1st Saturday in Downtown Historic Montgomery. Event hours are from 9am to 2pm, AND there is lots of shopping and dining within walking distance so plan to stay the day.

Event/Application Rules & Regulations
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
___ Option A - $120.00: Six month pre-registration and payment (January-June and July-December and/or as pro-rated per 6 month period). Benefits include reserved booth space (your choice, based on availability, first come/first served), waived check-in day of event and guaranteed vendor acceptance (see rules and regulations).
___ Option B - $20.00: Single Event. Monthly registration/application must be completed each month and submitted by the 15th for committee review/consideration in order to secure space (see rules and regulations).
Rules and Regulations:
• Vendors agree to pay a non-refundable $20 for a 10X10 space outdoors. Additional ____ for electricity (must be reserved in advance). This fee is refundable only if the application is rejected.
• Vendors are required to check in before setting up to received assigned location and must be paid in full prior to the event. Check-in is waiver for prepaid vendors.
• Set up time is 7:00am to 8:45am and vendors should be prepared for business by 9:00am. Hours of business are 9:00am to 2:00pm.
• Vendors are responsible for their own licenses or tax permits, cash and sales tax.
• All items displayed in your space must be handmade, homemade or homegrown, by you, and preapproved by the HMBA Farmers Market Committee. HMBA reserves the right to have any unapproved items removed upon request.
• HMBA will not be held responsible for any damage, loss, or expense incurred, by the vendor, during this event.
• Vendors are responsible for cleaning up any trash or debris in and around their location at all times. There is no cleanup crew to pick up after you.
• HMBA reserves the right to reject any vendor, at their sole discretion, in an effort to maintain “Farmers Market” integrity and limit duplication of crafts.
• Craft vendor acceptance will be limited and based on a first come first serve basis. Craft vendors are defined as individuals who hand make and or add value to existing items as opposed to produce vendors who grow, can and/or cook produce and food items.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Jury materials, slides or photos, will not be returned to you. Spots are selected by vendors day of show - first come, first pick. No Refunds or Show Credits. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from event premises. No receptacles provided. No Early Packup Allowed. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
