Treasure Chest Arts & Crafts Spring Show - March 26-27-28, 2010 - at Mid Rivers Mall.
***You MUST request, complete and return my application to be considered for this show.***
Show to consist of hand made items or items of a craft nature. Limited retail items. This will be the only 3-day Spring Show in the St. Charles County area. Reduced prices for early applications! Spaces are: 6x8 for $120, 10x10 for $200, 10x20 for $380 if completed application is received before March 15, 2010; 6x8 for $160; 10x10 for $250; 10x20 for $450 if application is received after March 15, 2010. Application is not considered complete unless fees are paid in full. Since this show is in a Mall, exact booth sizes may vary. Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different size booth of equal or greater square footage.
Applications are numbered when received and spaces are assigned in the order the applications were received.
Electricity is available for $20 if paid with application.
Show set-up is Thursday evening, beginning at 9:00 pm. All spaces must be ready by 8:30am Friday for fire inspections. Tables must be covered to the floor on all sides. Displays must be neat and attractive. Candle burning is NOT allowed.
Special requests must be in writing and will be honored to the best of the promoter's ability.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Workers under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times.
All fees are non-refundable. Returned check fee is $50.00

Exhibitor Rules and Regulations
1. All items must be handmade, hand crafted or of a craft nature. Non-handmade items allowed only at the promoter’s discretion. Absolutely NO flea market or garage sale type items allowed. We reserve the right to reject items we find in poor taste or any person who does not conform to the regulations. All Exhibitors must submit 3 photos of your products, including one photo of display. Photos will be kept on file.

2. Electricity is available upon request. $20 if paid with booth fees, $30 if added on later. Exhibitors must have a surge protected power strip (type S or SJ) UL approved for multiple outlet requirements.
3. Show set-up is Thursday, March 26, beginning at 9:00pm. All displays must be ready by 8:30am, Friday, March 27. Tables must be covered to the floor, on all sides. Display must be neat and attractive. Candle burning is not allowed. Exhibitors are responsible for the clean up of their exhibit area.
4. Fire Marshall requires all Exhibitors to have at minimum, a 5 pound, ABC rated fire extinguisher. If your display is made of wood, it must be fire rated.
5. Booth spaces are assigned in the order the applications are received. Applications must include full payment to be considered complete. Special requests must be in writing and will be honored to the best of the promoter’s ability. We reserve the right to assign or relocate any booth as necessary. Do not sublet spaces to anyone without permission.
6. Exhibitors should refrain from early breakdown of booths, removal of inventory, or loading of vehicles until the show has been officially closed at 6:00pm on Sunday.
7. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Workers under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Exhibitor assumes all responsibility/liability for any loss, theft, damage or personal injury occurrence inside or in front of your booth that requires an insurance claim. Treasure Chest Arts & Crafts Shows LLC will not assume any responsibility or liability for damage, theft or personal injury incurred directly or indirectly as a result of the show.
8. Missouri State Sales Tax collection and disbursement is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
9. All fees are non-refundable. Charge per returned check is $50.00.
10. Please include a business size, self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your confirmation packet. Packets will be mailed 1-2 weeks prior to the show and will include your booth space number and other detailed information.
11. Management requires all exhibitors and their co-workers to park in designated parking areas only. This is mandatory.
**NOTE FOR FOOD VENDORS**: Items must be manufactured, processed and distributed by the exhibiting firm and must be related to participation in the exhibiting event. Additionally, all unsealed products require a health permit. Securing of all necessary licenses and/or permits is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Exhibitors are responsible for complying with all St. Peters Health Department regulations regarding food sampling, storage, equipment, temperatures, etc. If an exhibitor is not in compliance or does not obtain the proper licenses and/or permits, the Health Department can shut down the booth.

Please remember to submit 3 photos of your products, including one photo of your display and a business size, self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your confirmation packet.
If your application is incomplete or not accepted, we will notify you immediatley. Otherwise, consider your application accepted. Confirmation packets will be mailed 1-2 weeks before the show.

Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos. Retail Items Allowed. All items must AT LEAST APPEAR hand made. Limited number of Artists per category. Driving Directions When Traveling From The East(St. Louis/Airport):
Take Interstate 70 West over the bridge to St. Charles. Take the Mid Rivers Mall exit, south. Mall is on the left.
When Traveling From The West(Kansas City):
Take Interstate 70 East to St. Peters. Take the Mid Rivers Mall exit. You can proceed straight ahead to enter the Mall or turn right and the Mall entrance is on the left.
