Gifts Galore at Greatwood Craft Show - Saturday, April 2, 2011
Just in time for Easter, it's the 10th Annual Gifts Galore at Greatwood Spring Craft Show on Saturday, March 27th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dickinson Elementary located at 7110 Greatwood Parkway Sugar Land, TX 77479. This year’s rain or shine event features vendors with a variety of unique home décor, yard décor, candles, food products, kitchen items, jewelry, handbags, embellished clothing, children and baby items. Breakfast, lunch and snack items will be available for purchase. Admission is FREE and strollers are welcome! A portion of the proceeds benefits Lamar Educational Awards Foundation (L.E.A.F). NO RAIN DATE! We will limit jewelry vendors to a total of 20% of the entire craft show. Therefore, we will accept no more than 21 jewelry vendors, and this total does include those vendors who sell jewelry along with other merchandise. Again, these spaces are reserved as first come, first serve only when paperwork and payment are received.
Gifts Galore at Greatwood is pleased to announce that a portion of the proceeds from the booth sales will benefit the Lamar Educational Awards Foundation (LEAF). LEAF is a non-profit community-based organization created to support the educational programs of Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. Teachers in the district request grants which provide resources to the students, staff and campuses of Lamar CISD that will supplement, enhance and enrich the quality of education for students in the district.
Advertising Done for This Event
Advertising for Gifts Galore at Greatwood will be publicized in all surrounding neighborhood newspapers such as The Southwest/Fort Bend Sun and area magazines such as the Fort Bend Lifestyles & Homes, the Fort Bend Focus, the Sugar Land Magazine, and the Fort Bend Parent Magazine. In addition, the event will be printed in the This Week section of the Houston Chronicle. The show will also be promoted through the Greatwood Newsletter and the MOPS organization newsletter in the month of October. In addition, we will be sending home fliers with all the teachers in the neighboring elementary schools in the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District!
Professional signs will be placed in the Greatwood subdivision plus surrounding neighborhoods and intersections on the day of the event as well as days prior to the show. We will also have 2 banners on the outside, front entrance of Dickinson Elementary advertising the event.
We have enclosed a flier for you to email or make copies and distribute to customers, friends, family and area businesses of your choice.
Event/Application Rules & RegulationsCommon Rules Selected:
Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Early Packup Allowed. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules:
All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
