The 53rd annual Tubac Festival of the Arts is Arizona's longest running arts festival. Arizona's longest running art festival! The Tubac Festival of the Arts features artists from around the county and has a 49-year tradition that draws tens of thousands of visitors each season. Festival booths are located throughout the historic village, mixed among our year-round fine art galleries, working artists' studios and eclectic shops. Horse-drawn trolleys, roving street performers and a food court enhance the festival atmosphere.
Tubac is located 45 miles south of Tucson and the Festival runs concurrently with the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. Arizona\'s longest running art festival, the Tubac Festival of the Arts features artists from around the country and has a 49-year tradition that draws tens of thousands of visitors each season. Festival booths are located throughout the historic village, mixed in with our year-round galleries, shops and working artist studios. Horse-drawn trolleys, roving street performers and a food court enhance the festival atmosphere. Every February, the Tubac Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor the Tubac Festival of the Arts. The major event of the year for Tubac showcases the work of hundreds of visiting artists, craft persons and musicians from around the country and Canada. While the show is juried for quality, it is not pretentious. Serious paintings share the street with whimsical sculptures and New Age music. In addition to Tubac's many fine restaurants, during Festival you'll find a food court packed with delicious treats.
The Tubac Festival had its start back in 1959 and is the longest running event of its kind in the southwest. Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. White Canopies Only. No Early Packup Allowed. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Photos of workshop, supplies, or works in progress required. All items must be entirely hand-made, no Embellishments only. All items must be entirely hand-made by the artist alone. All items must be Fine Craft or Art. Limited number of Artists per category. Artist must be present day of show. Booth Business Sign Required. No inventory boxes in view. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them. Exhibitors must wear name badges. Determined Quality Level: 4
