Description
20th Annual Midwestern Herb and Garden Show starts Friday February 8 to Sunday Feburary 10 at The Times Square Mall in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  Hours for Friday and Saturday are 10 to 9 p.m. and Sunday is 12 to 5 p.m.  The event is sponsored by Herbs for Health and Fun Club and Mount Vernon Convention and Visitors Bureau which can be contacted at http//midwesternherbandgardenshow.  There are over 40 vendors and lots of free seminars.  This year's keynote speaker is Rob Proctor who is the Horticulture and Artistic Director at Denver Botanic Gardens and also a prolific author, illustrator, photographer, lecturer and columinist.  The Featured speaker is Scott Kunst who is owner of Old House Gardens, America's only mail-order source devoted to heirloom bulbs.  Great family event and lots to see.
