Description
Wayne Valley High School has been the site of a craft show for over 15 years. The school is located on a major well traveled road near many major highways. We have a great customer base in this area. One Hundred crafters are set up in the gym with hand crafted items. There is a limited number of 4 x 16 booths, but most booths are 8 x 10. We are seeking crafters with quality hand crafted items. Wayne Valley High School, located on Valley Rd, Wayne, N.J. is a well-known large regional school. The school is located off of many major area highways and is located on a major road. Wayne is an affluent area of Passaic County and the school is located near NOrthern Bergen county towns of Oakland and Franklin Lakes. A show is held three times a year at this school and consistantly draws a large crowd of eager shoppers. We are looking for quality crafters with hand made items only. No buy sell items are allowed. All 100 hundred exhibitors are located in one huge gym. 4 photos required 1 doing work. We limit categories.
Wayne Valley High School Spring Craft Show is in its 15th year at this location. Wayne is an affluent community in Passaic county and the school is close to affluent Bergen county and Franklin Lakes. The customers wait for the Wayne shows which consistantly draw a crowd of eager shoppers. 100 exhibitors are located in one huge gym. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Photos of workshop, supplies, or works in progress required.
All items must be entirely hand-made, no Embellishments only.
All items must be entirely hand-made by the artist alone.
Limited number of Artists per category.
Artist must be present day of show.
Floor length table cloths required.
No inventory boxes in view.
No plain, flat table displays. Tiers, levels, or shelves required on them.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
