Description
The Graw Festival is a day long celebration of all things 1920's as we remember the past in beautiful Downtown Havre de Grace.
We'll have horses and horse racing as the theme of the Festival, with lots of kids games, a wheeled horse parade, artisans and craftspeople displaying their handicrafts and talents, pumpkin making, historic presentations and displays, and our local merchants' doors swinging all day. Ragtime music plays all day.
Artists and Artisans line the streets. The Graw Days represent a colorful time in our City's history beginning in 1912 with the construction of the HdG Racetrack, known as The Graw. Timeframe for the Festival is the Roaring Twenties, with multiple live music entertainers, period attire, food, drink, carriage rides, street performers, historic & educational displays, artists & crafters.
All crafts should be handmade and not resells. |
