Country Flower Farms Annual Autumn Craft Fair featuring over 30 crafters, vendors and artisans in a beautiful greenhouse setting. All of our crafters will have a variety of beautiful wares to offer. Centrally located, just miutes from Hartford, New Haven and Middletown. The greenhouse will have mums, pumpkins and other Autumn favorites available too. We will be having a raffle to benefit the Meriden Humane Society, as well as a pet food and kitty litter drive to benefit local animal shelters.

Event/Application Rules & Regulations
vendors must provide own tables, chairs, staging.
vendors must check in prior to unloading for space assignment. Space assignment is final.
vendors must move vehicles once unloaded; prior to setting up.
no fuel powered generators allowed.
vendors must come prepared with enough change to accomodate customers.
vendors are required to have CT tax ID and file CT taxes accordingly.
All trash must be thrown away in provided containers.
Vendors must leave their space in good condition.
Check in is at 7am. must be ready by 9:45.
The fair ends at 4pm. no early pack ups allowed. must exit building no later than 6pm.
Country Flower Farms is a smoke free environment. Smoking is only allowed in a small area near the vendor parking spaces. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly.
No foul language permitted.
A raffle donation representative of your wares is appreciated for the raffle. a $20 minimum value please.
Vendors must keep their wares within their spaces.
No outside solicitation of wares.
Due to low pipes, we cannot allow canopies. we have a 7 foot height restriction. Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. A percentage of vendors are cycled out each year to maintain freshness. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicles can not be brought near stand for un/loading. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Photos of workshop, supplies, or works in progress required. Retail Items Allowed. All items must be entirely hand-made, no Embellishments only. All items must be Fine Craft or Art. Limited number of Artists per category. Artist must be present day of show. Floor length table cloths required. Booth Business Sign Required. No inventory boxes in view. No plain, flat table displays. Tiers, levels, or shelves required on them. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them. Determined Quality Level: 2
