Description
Annandale United Methodist Church is hosting it annual Christmas Bazaar it is an indoor event with approximately 35 vendors. The money earned goes to many different church functions for example missions. There will be a basket raffle, free children's entertainment, used book sale, & country cafe. Additionally, Annandale UMC will have open for free tours of the historic Little White Church that was burned down during the Civil war and rebuilt. Later the church served not only as a church but a school house.

Event/Application Rules & Regulations
1. Setup times are Friday, November 9th from 7pm to 9pm and on Saturday, November 10th from 8am to 10am. You may unload in the curb lane by the front doors, but please move your car to the parking lot behind the church as soon as you are done unloading (Saturday only).
2. Exhibitors must have their space set up and ready by 10am. You must check-in by 9am on Saturday, November 5th if not your space may be given away to another vendor or you may not be allowed to participate.
3. Please check-in at the front main entrance to receive your space assignment and welcome packet.
4. Exhibitor who request on their registration form and pay for one 8-foot table will be provided one in their section. You may also provide your own table. All work and displays must stay within the designated 8x8 space or 10x10 space. Please keep your area appealing by hiding extra boxes, merchandise & debris. Exhibitors should not solicit, approach patrons, or distribute advertising material outside the booth area.
5. Chairs will be provided. (2 per space)
6. All tables, either provided by the church or brought by exhibitors, must have a floor length tablecloth or drape.
7. If electricity was requested on your application, your space assignment will be in close proximity to an electrical outlet. You must bring your own extension cords and/or power strip and tape it to the floor.
8. All items for sale must be considered “appropriate” and “family friendly” for a church function. Annandale United Methodist Church reserves the right to remove any item from the display that does not in fall in this category.
9. Provide with your completed application at least 3 photos with images of your work. The photos can be emailed. Exhibited work must be consistent with the photos submitted by the vendor.
10. Only crafters who have been accepted under the jewelry category are permitted to display and sell any jewelry.
11. Light Food will be available for purchase. Free coffee and hot water will be available throughout the day.
12. Sales tax will be the responsibility of the exhibitor.
13. The Annandale United Methodist Church will not accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged articles nor will they be responsible for any financial commitments and/or obligation undertaken by an individual, business, or organization.
14. Alcoholic beverages, pets and unsupervised children are not permitted. Smoking is not permitted in the building or on church grounds (except designated areas). A professional attitude and consideration for co-exhibitors are expected at all times.
15. Exhibitors will be responsible for cleaning up their display area and disposing of any trash before leaving. We ask that the displays are removed by 5:00 PM.
16. We will do our best to make sure our show is well organized and a positive experience for you.
17. To instill variety, we accepted a limited number of exhibitors per category (e.g., jewelry, handbags, bath & body, etc).
18. Jewelry must be handmade by exhibitor no resell.
19. All work may not be produced from commercial kits.
20. Volunteers will be available throughout the event to answer any questions and provide assistance.
21. Exhibitors that do not adhere to all the regulations or misrepresent their work will be asked to leave the show.
22. Each Exhibitor upon check-in is requested to provide a $20 item to Annandale United Methodist Church for a church fundraiser.
23. You will be notified of your acceptance by email.
24. Your payment will not be processed until you have been accepted. If you pay by check and you are not accepted for any reason your check will be returned uncashed.
25. Exhibitors shall not disassemble, pack up or remove their display prior to the official closing time.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Jury materials, slides or photos, will not be returned to you. Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. Vehicles can not be brought near stand for un/loading. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos. Retail Items Allowed. All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only. Limited number of Artists per category. Artist must be present day of show. Floor length table cloths required. No inventory boxes in view. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them. Determined Quality Level: 2

Driving Directions Take 495 to Little River Turnpike East exit. Go approximately 2 miles to Evergreen Lane take a left. Go to the end of street at "T" take a right on to Columbia Pike. Church is on right one block up.
