| Child of God Lutheran School Eighth Annual Fall Craft Show featuring hand made items and items of a craft nature. Show is Saturday, October 13, 9am-4pm. Set-up is Friday evening 4-7pm or Saturday morning beginning at 7am. 6'x8' space - $40, 8'x8' space - $55. Electric $5(limited availability.) You must provide all your own equipment-tables, displays, etc. We will provide chairs and help with carrying your merchandise in and out. Child of GOd is located at 650 Salt Lick Rd in St. Peters. It is approximately 1 mile south of Hwy 70. |
Advertising Done for This Event
| Event is submitted to several sources of free advertising - Journal, Post Dispatch, Mid Rivers Mag., etc. Also advertised in local church bulletins and school notes throughout St. Charles County. Many neighborhood signs will be put out the week before the show. Signs in the front yard of the school will be put out approximately 3 weeks before the show. Salt Lick Rd has a high traffic volume. Sign is seen by thousands a day. |

Child of God Lutheran School, located at 650 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters, is accepting applications for their Eighth Annual Fall Craft Fair. The school, located north of Mexico Road, is in a high traffic area, making it a great location for a Craft Fair.
We have chosen Saturday, October 13, 2012 for our Fall Craft Fair. Doors will be open from 9:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. for sales. Signs will be posted along heavily traveled roads in the area about one week prior to the event. We will also be advertising in the local newspapers, internet calendars, placing announcements in other area church bulletins and posting flyers on public bulletin boards.
Attached you will find a Craft Fair Application, a Regulations and Instructions page and a Release of Liability Form. Please read all information carefully, sign where indicated and return all forms, photos and fees (check or money order made payable to Child of God) to:

Regulations and Instructions:
1. All applicants and workers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
2. Crafters may choose to set up on Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. or on Saturday morning beginning at 7:00 a.m.
3. Entrants pay $40 for a 6’x8’ space or $55 for an 8x8 space. Electricity is an additional $5. Electrical outlets are limited and will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. Fees are not refundable after September 1, 2012.
4. Entrants must provide all their own equipment, tables and table covers. Tables should be skirted to the floor. All spaces will include one chair. Additional chairs provided upon request. Entrants are responsible for setting up and clearing their area.
5. Only handcrafted, handmade or items of a craft nature may be sold. Non-handmade items allowed only at the approval of the organizer. No flea market, antiques or garage sale items. We reserve the right to reject items we find in poor taste and any person who does not conform to the regulations.
6. No food or drink may be sold or served. Food and drinks will be available to purchase.
7. Child of God Lutheran School, Church or Parents and Friends Group will not assume responsibility for damage or theft of sale items or personal belongings, nor will they be responsible for personal injury incurred directly or indirectly as a result of the Craft Fair.
8. Spaces will be assigned in the order applications are received. Spaces not claimed by 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning will be assumed as No-Shows and will be filled by neighboring crafters.
9. Letters will be mailed approximately two weeks before the Craft Fair informing you of your space number and closest entrance. Please unload your merchandise then move your car so others may unload.
10. In compliance with the Missouri Department of Revenue, we will be submitting names and addresses of all participants. Missouri State Sales Tax collection and disbursement is the responsibility of the participant.
11. To conform to the City of St. Peters licensing regulations, we obtain an “umbrella” itinerant vendors license. This requires us to submit all participants’ names and addresses to the city.
12. Child of God Lutheran School facility and its grounds are smoke free and alcohol free.
13. All regulations and instructions must be read and application signed by all people working at your space.

All items must be handcrafted or of a craft nature. Commercial or buy/sell accepted only at organizers discretion. Please, no garage sale or flea market items.
Please include at least two photos* of your booth/items to be sold along with a legal sized self-addressed, stamped envelope and your check or money order for all fees made payable to Child of God Lutheran School. Consider your application confirmed unless otherwise notified.

I, by signing this form, agree not to hold Child of God Lutheran School, Child of God Lutheran Church, Child of God Lutheran School’s Parents and Friends Group or any individual associated with any of the aforementioned, liable or responsible, financially or otherwise, for damage or theft of any sale related items or personal belongings, nor will they be held liable or responsible for any personal injury incurred directly or indirectly as a result of the Craft Fair or my participation in it.

Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Jury materials, slides or photos, will not be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Table Cloth or Drape Required. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
