CHRISTMAS IN OLDE BALLINGER WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2011 DOWNTOWN BALLINGER on 8th Street Between Railroad Ave. and Hutchins Ave.
10a.m.-4p.m.

                                                      CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
To avoid any confusion, we ask you to be sure you completely understand each of the following
Rules.  You will be asked to sign a Statement of Acceptance of these rules before we can accept
the application.
NON-LIABILITY:
Every reasonable care will be taken in handling all work, but no responsibility is assumed by the
BALLINGER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE for loss or damage from any cause, through
participation in this show.  The Artist automatically agrees to the rules set forth in this form.
ELIGIBILITY:
Application to the sale is open to resident United States artists and craft people.
FEE:
Booth fee is $50.00 for 10'x10¡¦ and $30 for additional 10¡¦X10¡¦. Concessions will be $75  
DEADLINE:
All applications must be in by NOVEMBER 18, 2011.  Late applications will be allowed, but will be put on a waiting list.
SET UP TIME AND REMOVAL:
Set up time is Friday, November 25, from 5 p.m. to 8p.m.  or Saturday, November 26th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.   A member of the Chamber will be on site to assist with space assignment and other questions.  All Booths are required to stay open until 4:00 P.M.
PARKING ON HUTCHINGS AVE., HWY., 67, WILL BE LIMITED TO THIRTY MINUTES FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING. There are parking places available all around the show area.  
SALES TAX:
Exhibitors must report and pay their own sales tax.
BOOTH SPACE ASSIGNED:
Booth spaces will be assigned upon your arrival and checking in with Chamber.
Space must be kept neat and clean.  There will be no smoking inside the vendor building.  Leave your space clean at the end of the show.
CONCESSION RULES & REGULATIONS:
Concessions must be in operation from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
Health Permits:
You must abide by all state and county health code regulations. State or county health officials may inspect your booth at any time.








LIMITATIONS:
NO TOY GUNS OF ANY KIND, ANY WATER BALLOONS, FIREWORKS OR POPPERS WILL BE ALLOWED OR SOLD IN BOOTHS. NO FAKE CIGARETTES OR ANYTHING THAT INCENUATES BAD HABBITS OF ANY KIND PLEASE USE YOUR BEST JUDGMENT ON ITEMS TO EXHIBIT.  BALLINGER IS A ¡§FAMILY ORIENTED TOWN¡¨ AND THE CHAMBER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RESTRICT THE SALE, DISPLAY OR DISTRIBUTION OF ANY  PRINTED MATERIALS, PHOTOGRAPHS, BOOKS, T-SHIRTS, OR OTHER PARAPHERNALI OTHER REPRESENTATION THAT DOES NOT MAINTAIN A PROPER, MORAL, WHOLESOME  ENVIROMENT.  

ONLY PRIZES MAY BE AWARDED FOR CHANCES ON GAMES.    VENDORS CANNOT AWARD MONEY TO PARTICIPATANTS ON GAMING CONCESSIONS.
ANY VENDOR IN NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THIS REGULATION WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISIS. THERE WILL NOT BE A REFUND FOR BOOTH RENTAL.

THIS STATEMENT MUST BE SIGNED BY THE VENDOR AND RETURNED TO THE
BALLINGER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OFFICE BEFORE YOU WILL BE ACCEPTED TO THE SHOW.
WAIVER AND RELEASE:
In consideration of being an  accepted  vendor, concessionaire, or exhibitor, the undersigned hereby waives any right which she/he may have, now or in the future, for any injuries or damage occurring or caused  by being a participant and does hereby release the BALLINGER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, IT¡¦S EMPLOYEES, IT¡¦S OFFICERS AND MEMBERS,
THE CITY OF BALLINGER, IT¡¦S EMPLOYEES, AND OFFICERS, THE COUNTY OF RUNNELS AND IT¡¦S OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES, ALL BEING IN THE STATE OF TEXAS, AND ANY PERSON OR ENITY HAVING OWNERSHIP, CONTROL OR POSSESSION OF GROUNDS DURING THE 2011 CHRISTMAS IN OLDE BALLINGER, FROM ANY CLAIMS, DEMAND, SUIT OR CAUSE OF ACTION WHATSOEVER, FOR ANY DAMAGE OR INJURY OCCURING TO THE UNDERSIGNED AND ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION AT THE SHOW.  THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS; THE SHOW WILL HAPPEN COME RAIN OR SHINE.

Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Early Packup Allowed. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
