The Vermilion River Fall Festival will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Ellsworth Park. Admission is free. Ellsworth Park is located on the city’s southwest side. Visitors should enter off Oakwood Avenue.
There are: assorted crafts, flea market and commercial items for sale, food booths, a mud volleyball tournament, Guitar Hero video game contest, pony rides, radio controlled race cars, a river clean up, dunk tank and raffle to benefit the American Cancer Society, tomahawk-throwing contest, monkey rope bridge, VC Amateur Radio, Voyageur Canoe, inflatable blow-up toys, crow float, beer garden, movie and entertainment, Illiana Antique Car Show and conservation information and displays. Conservation sponsors are Illinois Conservation Foundation, Keep Vermilion County Beautiful and Aqua Illinois.
