This is a juried arts and crafts show, held indoors at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Crafters are coming from all over the US and Canada. Examples of crafts available for purchase include carved and painted wood items, stained glass items, embroidered shirts, silk flower arrangements, soaps, pottery, ceramics, and many more!
Advertising Done for This Event
Ads in the Kalamazoo Gazette newspaper, the Michigan Tourist paper, and other area newspapers. Ads will be featured on local radio and TV stations. Outdoor signs will be provided, including a large 6 foot by 8 foot outdoor sign near Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Vendors may not leave early.
All tables must be covered, and all boxes must be out of sight.
Cars must be parked in designated areas, away from the front door.
Please be considerate of your neighbor and do not obstruct vision of or accessibility to your neighbor's booth. Common Rules Selected:
Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Table Cloth or Drape Required. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. No Eating or Drinking permitted at booth. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Standard Rules:
All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
