This is the 27th Annual 'Victor J. Andrew High School Spring Arts & Crafts Show'. We have a loyal following of both participants and paying customers. Lat spring we had 100+ participants that offer many handcrafted products for the spring and any upcoming holidays, delicious specialty food products, as well as a select group of nationally known vendors. We had 1600+ customers that come to shop and eat at our wonderful show. This spring will mark our first ONE DAY ONLY show as suggested by our participant.
Advertising Done for This Event
We have print ads in many local papers as well as the Chicago Tribune. We also do electronic signs and lg. vinyl signs locally. Flyers posted in businesses, churches, schools and lawn signs and advertise on cable access channels.
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Spaces are 10’ x 8’, with a limited number of 12’ x 6’ spaces in the hallway. Rental tables are 6’ long. To use electricity, you
must provide a 50’ heavy-duty extension cord. If you do not provide your own cord, you WILL NOT get electricity to
your booth. Set up times will be provided in your confirmation packet. Displays are left overnight at the sole responsibility of the
crafter. You are required to leave your completed display up until closing time on Saturday (4:00 p.m.). In appreciation of our
crafters, we will provide free coffee and tea to you both days.
***You must send 3 pictures of your product +/-booth to be considered. You may either send photos with your application or
email digital pictures. Either way you must send a SELF-ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPE (with at minimum 2 first
class stamps) with your application.
Common Rules Selected:
A percentage of vendors are cycled out each year to maintain freshness. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Early Packup Allowed. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules:
All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos.
All items must AT LEAST APPEAR hand made.
Limited number of Artists per category.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
Exhibitors must wear name badges. Determined Quality Level: 3
