27th Annual Holiday Collections Craft Arts & Craft Fair Sponsored by the S.C.Convention Center.
Largest Craft Fair in the Siouxland Area. 2 levels of arts and hand crafted items. Move in day Friday before show from 9am - 9pm. Day of 6AM 2 Day show, hours 9am - 5pm Sat . 10am - 4pm on Sunday.

Free parking to the public, Admission $5.00 for adults good for both days, children under 12 are free when with an adult. $1.00 off coupon offered.
Advertising Done for This Event
Total budget for advertising is $15,000.
Local News Paper, radio, TV. 3 out of town papers and business news.
Posters and 3 Bill Boards 2 on the interstate other 1 on major street in town. Additional flyers and coupons will be sent to all exhibitors to distribute to their customers.

RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE FALL FAIR 2009

THE EFD MANGEMENT OF THE SIOUX CITY CONVENTION CENTER, 801 4TH STREET, RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AMEND, ADD TO, OR INTERPRET THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS, AND TO FINALLY SETTLE AND DETERMINE ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS AND DIFFERENCES ARISING OUT OF, CONNECTED WITH OR INCIDENT TO, THIS EVENT.

IN RETURNING YOUR SIGNED CONTRACT AND PAYMENT, YOU ARE AGREEING TO COMPLY WITH EACH OF THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THIS EVENT.

FAIR DATES AND NEW EXTENDED HOURS:
Saturday, NOVEMBER 21 � 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, NOVEMBER 22 � 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

PARKING:
Motor homes will NOT be allowed to be parked in the parking area at the back of the building.
You will need to unload and move motor homes to the TOP OF THE HILL AT 5TH & Virginia St. OR Park at the Tyson Event Center at 401 Gordon Dr. All trailors will need to be dropped and vehicles moved to parking ramp or at the top of the hill on 5th & Virginia St. to accommodate our customers.

EXHIBITOR PACKETS:
MUST BE PICKED UP BEFORE GOING TO YOUR SPACE IN CASE LAST MINUTE CHANGES HAD TO BE MADE.

DOOR BADGES:
(BADGES NEED TO BE WORN AT ALL TIME DURING THE EVENT HOURS PLEASE)
Each exhibitor will be issued three (3) door badges to be used by their workers only. These are for your workers only - not friends and relatives attending the fair. These passes will be honored at the back of the building ONLY. If extra passes are needed, ask for them at the Information Booth.

BOOTH SPACES:
BOOTH SIZE VARIES DEPENDING ON LOCATION. Each booth will be equipped with one table and two chairs. Electricity will be supplied if needed. You must supply your own cord if electricity is needed.
Extra tables 8� or 6� can be purchased for $8.00 each during move-in or in advance.
No pinning or sewing or attaching to the drape itself. No drapes can be removed unless you are on outside wall
No helium balloons allowed in building.

FOOD VENDORS:
IF THIS ITEM IS AN EAT ON THE SPOT TYPE ITEM (CANDY, POP CORN, DINKY DONUTS, COFFEE, NUTS, ETC.) An additional $100 will be charged in addition to your booth rent this will be paid to our catering department Distinctive Gourmet
A form will need to be signed by ALL food vendors and turned in at the time you return your contract. Please see the last page of this contract for clarification re guarding food vendors.

SUB-LETTING:
You cannot rent part of your booth to another exhibitor. If more than one person is occupying a booth, list all names on the contract.


ADVERTISING MATERIALS & DISPLAYS:
No signs or advertisements may extend into the aisles or higher than the 8� back wall. You must keep your material confined to the area of your booth. Nothing can be displayed outside of the booth area or corners. This causes problems with the fire regulations for the building. NO ON SALE OR DISCOUNT SIGNS ARE ALLOWED.

THERE IS NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE CONVENTION CENTER.

CHILDREN MUST BE KEPT IN YOUR BOOTH:
We ask that you do NOT bring children with you during move-in hours. If they must accompany you during fair hours, you will be required to keep them in your booth with you.

SALES TAX;
Sales tax is the responsibility of the exhibitor. The exhibitors name and address will be given to the Department of Revenue in IA. The sales tax for IA. is 7%.

INSURANCE:
If insurance is desired it must be obtained by the exhibitor him self at his own expense.

The Sioux City Convention Center, City of Sioux City and Promoter assume no risk, and by the acceptance and signing of this agreement the exhibitor releases the Promoter , Sioux City Convention Center, and City of Sioux City from any and all liability for any damage, injury, or loss of any goods which might occur from the rental of the space by the exhibitor, and will not hold the City of Sioux City, the Sioux City Convention Center or the Promoter responsible of any loss or damage.

BOOTHS MUST HAVE ITEMS HAND CRAFTED FOR SALE
We will not allow just a display with a party plan, sign-up, imports or commercial items. By signing this contract you have agreed to these requirements.
We have several non-hand crafted booths in the show � these have grandfathered into the show and are allowed.

NO EARLY MOVE OUTS ARE ALLOWED!
By signing this contract you are making a commitment to both days of the show and the hours required by contract..

CANCELATION POLICY:
It is agreed that reservations may be canceled, but booth rent will not be refunded if it is 60 days or less prior to the opening of the event. IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL I WILL NEED A LETTER ASKING FOR A REFUND FOR OUR RECORDS AGAIN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO THE OPENING DAY OF SHOW.

YOU WILL HAVE PRIORITY TO YOUR SAME LOCATION FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR, PROVIDED THAT FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED BY FRIDAY OR SATURDAY BEFORE CLOSE OF SHOW. SUNDAY ALL BOOTH LOCATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR NOT TAKEN WILL NOT BE HELD FOR PRIORITY, THEY WILL BE OPEN TO ANYONE STARTING AT 9AM. SHOW HOURS FOR SUNDAY ARE 10AM � 4PM.

DOOR PRIZES:
We ask PLEASE THAT ONE ITEM BE DONATED FROM EACH EXHIBITOR. These items will be used as door prizes for both days of the fair. Please attach card or note paper with name and booth number on your door prize items.
We ask that the exhibitors DO NOT register for the door prizes; that is a bonus for those that pay to attend the show.

Food Vendor Agreement

All food products must come from approved food sources. Those that are in compliance with local, state and federal laws will be allowed in the Spring and/or Fall Craft Fairs to be held at the Sioux City Convention Center. It is the vendor�s responsibility to contact the appropriate agencies to certify the product is safe for human consumption.
Any food-borne illness caused by the consumption of the vendor�s product is sole responsibility of the vendor, not the Sioux City Convention Center.
Please sign that you comply with this agreement and return with your signed contract.

Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. A percentage of vendors are cycled out each year to maintain freshness. Send 1 SASE - Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with standard postage. Vendors can share a booth. Vendors do not have to signup for all event dates. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No Gas Generators. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Send 1 SASE - Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with standard postage. Vehicles can not be brought near stand for un/loading. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos.
All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only.
Floor length table cloths required.
Backdrop required.
Booth Curtains Required ( Back and Both Sidewalls ).
No inventory boxes in view.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
Exhibitors must wear name badges.
