Description
The 62nd Annual Arts & Crafts Festival in Fairhope is an Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce event. Spring time is probably the most favorite season of the year and it couldn�t be nicer than in Fairhope, Alabama, where thousands of beautiful azaleas are in full bloom. Come to Fairhope and celebrate the beginning of Spring! The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the 62nd Annual Arts & Crafts Festival in Fairhope, which is scheduled for March 14,15, 16, 2014. Festival hours are 10 am - 5 pm daily and there is no admission charge.

     Over 200 exhibitors from throughout the nation will bring their best works to show and sell at this prestigious juried show. Live entertainment will be going on throughout the three-day event and unique cuisine will be served up in the food court. It all takes place on the streets of beautiful downtown Fairhope, Alabama. Last year the event attracted more than 300,000 visitors to the area. The festival chosen as one of the top 20 events in the southeast for March by the Alabama Bureau of Tourism and it is in the top 20 show by Southeast Tourism Soc. Readers of Alabama Magazine chose it as "Best of Bama" in the July/August issue 2013.

     BRATS (Baldwin County Area Transportation System) will offer a shuttle service for $2 each way from the Plantation Pointe Shopping Center, Eastern Shore Village Shopping Center and Ecor Rouge Place. All of the parking is free and the locations are less than a five-minute ride away.
     There will be so much to see and do on the Eastern Shore that folks will want to stay over. There are lots of the finest quality hotels, motels and bed & breakfast Inns located throughout the entire Eastern Shore area. Event/Application Rules & Regulations

Electricity is not available. Generators and amplified music are not allowed. Each artist must submit 4 recent JPG images on a computer disc. 3 of individual pieces and 1 image of a fully stocked outdoor booth. Please write your name on the disc using a permanent marker. Do not place labels on the disc. No slide shows, PDF files or word files.
Common Rules Selected: Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.

All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only.
Limited number of Artists per category.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.

Driving Directions
If you are traveling on 1-10 from the West (Louisiana, Mississippi) you will take Exit 35 A & turn right onto Highway 98 East (or South). Follow Highway 98 past the "Welcome To Fairhope" sign (about 9 miles from 1-10). Stay on Highway 98 (also called Greeno Road) & follow 98 until you see Fairhope Avenue (Highway 48). Turn right onto Fairhope Avenue & follow Fairhope Avenue until you see Faulkner College on your left. The Chamber office is located 1 1/2 blocks East of Faulkner at 327 Fairhope Avenue on the right, where the artists registration will be held.

Follow Highway 98 past the "Welcome to Fairhope" sign (9 miles from 1-10). Stay on Highway 98 (also called Greeno Road) until you reach Fairhope Avenue (Highway 48). Turn right on Fairhope Avenue & follow Fairhope Avenue until you see Faulkner College on the left. The Chamber office is located 1 1/2 blocks East of Faulkner at 327 Fairhope Avenue on the right, where artist registration will be held.
