The Cherry Festival has been going strong for years, they already have over 60 outdoor vendors and asked me to open the Breezeway and offer more vendor booths to the public. I have space for an additional 30 Craft and Home Business vendors with products that range from home made to manufactured. These vendors are coming from all over the North West. Find something special for those you love and even for yourself.
The City Breezeway allows me to provide 30 vendors an indoor booth. We are more at an advantage then the outdoor booths as we are located right on the main road. The road will be lined with the public as we have a parade that starts at 11am, the road will be blocked off to allow for the parade to come through. We will be in the midths of the activities.
Vendors: we are looking to fill all 40-10x10 booths, so bring your crafts, hobbies, home based businesses and small businesses. We only accept one retail business per event, so only one Cookie Lee, and only one Avon, but we do accept up to three companies/groups with similar products, such as three different booths that sell body lotion, etc.
Advertising Done for This Event
Advertising has been ran through The Dalles Cronical every weekend for the past month. It is also going into neighboring towns and cities throughout the Columbia River. Advertising is also in KMHD 89.1 - Your source for jazz, blues and NPR news, Topix. net classifieds, the last three weeks in Willamette Weekly, as well as in the Chamber of Commerce.
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Vendors must keep booths clean, at all times. Trash taken out to outside dumpster. No selling outside of your own booth. Please visit my website and look under rules and services for more information.Common Rules Selected:
Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. All paintings must hang. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicles can not be brought near stand for un/loading. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules:
All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Retail Items Allowed.
Limited number of Artists per category.
Floor length table cloths required.
No plain, flat table displays. Tiers, levels, or shelves required on them.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
