Tips for Printing
Set print scaling to 100% - NOT 'scale to fit' which became most browsers' default in 2007.
You have to go into 'print preview' to even find this setting, it is not on the printer page usually.
When you print ANY page, your browser may adjust the width back to 'scale to fit';
but this setting should be set to 'scale to 100%' for best effect on this site.
Print in B/W AND Draft to save ink - Draft quality is often perfectly suitable for applications.
Most modern printers, if told to print an image (even a black and white scanned application), will use
color ink even if told to print in black and white unless you also set the quality to draft.
The reason is that the printer will use otherwise use the color cartarige to simulate grayscale black and white.
Long applications can be printed onto 2 pieces of 8.5 x 11 paper tapped together to make a
legal sized page to print on.
