I do, and if I don't collect it from buyers then it's a hard chunk of change that I must come up with out of my own pocket when I file my returns and pay quarterly or monthly depending on the state.

No. I'm required to collect AND REMIT tax on all sales. If you or someone within earshot were inspectors from the state I could be fined or loose my sales tax license. Also, another customer might hear, then expect a discount too.

Because in some areas I sell it is not permitted to include tax and I am not about to re-tag everything depending on the show location. Also, my prices are reasonable and competitive, I am asking the prices that you see marked – if I could sell an item for 7% less, the price would simply be 7% less.
